What can I do about an unpleasant sewer smell at my location?
Answer:
Unpleasant sewer smells can be caused by blockages in sewer lines. To determine if there is a blockage, please call the Public Works Department at (847) 526-9610. A Public Works' representative will be dispatched to investigate the problem and determine the location of any blockage. Blockages in Village owned lines will be cleared by our crews. Residents are responsible for the maintenance of sewer lines between the residence and the sewer main.
